I grew up fascinated by the night sky — the kind of fascination that doesn't go away. That curiosity eventually took me from Tehran to Munich, where I'm now pursuing a Master's degree in Astrophysics at Ludwig Maximilian University, focusing on exoplanets and the physics of planetary atmospheres.

My undergraduate years at Amirkabir University of Technology gave me a strong foundation in physics and introduced me to observational astronomy in a serious way. I competed in university-level astronomy competitions, joined the astronomy club, served as its secretary, and eventually became secretary of the student council — roles that shaped how I think about leadership and community.

Alongside my academic work, I founded Artemis Astronomy Center in Tehran in 2023 — an organization dedicated to making astronomy accessible. We started with free webinars for the general public and expanded into scientific conferences, a newsletter, Persian-language astronomy news, and a podcast. The goal has always been the same: get more people genuinely curious about astrophysics.

I've also taught astronomy at high schools in Tehran, developed lesson plans from scratch, and received recognition as an outstanding teacher in 2024. Teaching, for me, is not separate from research — it keeps me honest about what I actually understand.

Outside the lab and classroom, I spend time on mountains, behind a telescope with a camera, or at a chessboard. I play piano and setar — both at a beginner level, both purely for the pleasure of it.
